Thanks for the help ! You guys are great ! I've found it and that HAS to be where it was connected. If I route it up the side alongside the starter it's just the right length. I've attached a second picture...
Upon opening the covers on my 1988 150 HP black max there's a small black plastic tube about 1/4" diameter that's unconnected. I can't find where on the motor this tube plugged on?? I'll try to post a picture.
The tube comes from the wiring and cabling from over the transom so I'm suspecting...
