    Mercruiser TRS gimbal bearing replacement

    Does anyone know how to change the gimbal bearing on a 1981 Mercruiser TRS drive. I have done Alpha I drives and pre Alpha drives but never a TRS. At a glance it looks like there are a several bolts holding it in place. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks Jon

    I have a 1978 mercruiser 5.7 that has me stumped. I purchased the boat with a bad motor (water in the oil). I have since put a remanufactured engine in it and can't seem to keep it cool.
