    Blisters bottom re-gel?

    1993 bayliner classic 23ft tiny blisters everywhere on bottom ...I'm sanding off all gelcoat under water line. Could I replace the gelcoat with primer then barrier paint then antifouling paint? In that order? Or do I have to re-gelcoat? Thanks in advance any input is appreciated! !!

    hit skeg hard

    Hit skeg on bottom with decent jolt...took boat out of water right after...seems t be OK but I did notice that before this happened I could easily turn outdrive by manually pulling or pushing on outdrive itself ..now it wont...but steers OK (out of water) did I break something?

    exhaust system...pipe w/in a pipe?

    If the exhaust system has a pipe within a pipe (one carries hot gasses one water) how would you ever know if the pipe within has a hole before its to late and the damage is done?? I'm suspecting that my exhaust has killed two engines...is this possible?

    pulling engine

    93 Baja islander...4.3 vortec v6 mercruiser alpha one ...have to pull engine to change that y pipe...what will I need? Any tips or advice? Best type of cherry picker to buy? Any advice will be much appreciated!! Thanks in advance and HAPPY BOATING!!!!

    leak in lower y exhaust pipe

    93 Baja islander with new vortec v6 ...very hard to start. Idling low. Running very cool 100- 130.. doggish power...a knock that sounds like a bad gas knock...could all these symptoms be related to the y pipe leak?
