I am considering purchasing a 2001 Ebbtide 2300 Mystique. This boat has 283 hrs on it and has been well maintained. It has a 5.7L EFI Mercruiser engine w/ 260hp.

I am considering buying a 2001 2300 Mystyque BR. It has a 5.7L EFI Mercruiser (260hp). Boat weight is 4150lbs. I'm concerned that this may not be enough power for this boat. Does anyone agree this may not be enough power for water skiing? Is my concern valid?
