    Hi My engine number is 43b36c/b40935 - I'm still having problems with the engine overheating and cutting out it appears to be the waterpump as the jacket is bone dry. Any advice regarding repair (if possible) or where I could find a replacement would be great. Thanks.

    Hi I'm new to the forum and to boating!! I've recently acquired a Evinrude 4hp, I'm not sure of the age but have the engine number. Does anyone know where the waterpump might be positioned as when I ran the engine for 5 minutes it got extremely hot. Many thanks for any advice.
