Tilt/Trim Bleed Down; excessive!:eek: Decided to remove pump control valve (not the pump, didn't mess w/that, per RRITT suggestions). Parts are the issue, am posting images that hopefully will help someone else...:)
NOTE: the Tecumseh part numbers are no longer available according to my small...
Hi all, just put new seats in the pump control valve and new o rings...now: trim works fine, but Tilt not at all. Motor stops when trim extended fully. Then checked oil level and had quite alot of pressure behind the fill screw. Added 30w Non Det. oil (had atf).
Original problem was bleed...
