    Hi all. Bottom carb problem , low speed good, high speed no power. Disassembled carb, it was dirty. The stuff looked amber colored and was crunchy. The hose from the fuel pump was full of the stuff, from the tee to the carb inlet. The hose was gray colored plastic and had the crimp style clamps...

    Water pump replacement blues

    Replaced the waterpump on our 1979 115 hp Johnson, 115TL79R. The trans is not shifting. Haven't fired it up yet. Been trying to turn the prop by hand, its turning over the crank in f, r, and neut. no difference, prop won't freewheel in neut. Can't really see the shift rod end,( couldn't see it...
