    Fuel pump interchangeability

    I have read there are low pressure and high pressure fuel pumps for Mercruiser. I have a fuel pump from a 262 4.3 v6 which I would like to use on my 230 5.0 Mercruiser. It seems to fit okay, question is will it work?
