    help to identify hose barb on 2004 DF140

    Bought boat with DF140, learning all about this four stroke but cannot identify in Seloc repair manual or anywhere online the barb at the bottom of thermostat hose near bottom of block. While running, there is water flow. Pics are from the top of engine along side of thermostat hose looking down.

    99 johnson 150 overheat

    Hi all, Have 1999 Johnson 150 J150PLEES that was overheating... replaced stats,still overheat. I removed stats and ran on hose for 10-15 minutes and could keep my hand on both heads without burning. Also removed stat covers and started motor to see water flow and all is good.While running on...
