looked the inter net over for my 1998 Evinrude for shift rod adjustment E40TLECR all i could was find 21.38 went to I boats .com and a member told me to adjust it to 21 15/16 . now it goes into both gears .

comp. is 90 on all cylinders but 1 it is 65 . all plugs are dry .
this is a motor i was looking to buy . never ran it just checked comp .what you all think

1974 70 hp 3 cylinder 120 lb top 150 on other 2 cranks run good at idle sluggis at wot. breaks up at mid rpms . new plugs all plugs firing strong . my suspishon is stater
how does the auto pilot work ? all i see is a rocker switch that turnes it on . so i am guessing point and turn on autopilot.everything works just haven`t put it in the water.
