    VRO / Water seperator

    I am looking at getting rid of the VRO on my Evinrude 70hp 1986. A fuel / water seperator was recently installed because of water in the fuel. If I delete the VRO and start premixing the oil, can I leave the seperator in place?

    This may sound dumb but how do I tell if I have a 15" or 20" transom version of an Evinrude 70hp (AE70TLCDC)?<br />I have measured the mid section from join to join and it is 18".
