    Remove/clean steering cable - Mercury

    1996 Starcraft 125 hp Mercury outboard Need to remove/clean steerinning cable as steers real hard. Unhooked bracket from motor and loosened tightening nut, but can?t pull cable out of metal sleeve. Suggestions?

    I just purchased a new boat that has a bowmount Minn Kota motor. I'm putting in a new Plug & Receptacle (Push & Twist) to replace the 4-prong the motor currently has. Problem: old receptacle has 4 wires, but the new one has only 2-3. How should I wire this? There are 2+ and 2- wires...
