Can anyone help: our 1999 fitch runs perfectly throughout the rev range until it gets to max throttle (5500 REVS) it activates the S.L.O.W. safety function. When I turn off the engine and restart it, everything is fine again. The problem seems worse if the throttle is moved to wide open quickly...
I have a 1999 Evenrude 90 fitch - all 4 plugs are very badly sooted up, she sounds like she is missing on just 1 cylinder through out the rev range.
Any ideas what is causing the carbon, could it be the choke is not coming fully off?
