I have a 1983 85HP Force that is no longer charging.
Have been doing some troubleshooting and so far this is what I found.
Rectifier tests good. (Replaced last year with one from Radio Shack)
All grounds and connections cleaned and look good.

Last year I replaced my tilt tube because the one that was on the boat didnt have any O-rings in it. This led to a constant battle with frozen steering.

Decided to take out my 86 Bayliner Capri with a 86 Force 85hp engine.

I have 2 6.5 gallon tanks on my bayliner. When one runs out I switch to the second tank.
Is there any way to have both tanks 'jumpered'?
Or would I have to use an in-line valve of some kind to manually make the switch instead of unplugging one...
