I have a 20 year old 4.3 with the original one piece exhaust manifolds. The boat is in very good condition. Only used in fresh water and kept on a lift. I'm thinking of converting to two piece manifolds after the summer is over. I hate to spend the time and money on new manifolds but I guess...

1998 Mercruiser 4.3L Alpha drive. I noticed today the stbd manifold runs much warmer than the port. The boat runs about 165 degrees, and that's about what the stbd feels like. I can put my hand on it for a few seconds. The port feels luke warm. Is this normal?
