    New to boats, tips & tricks for Lowe fm165 series

    I am new to boating, my wife and I bought a 2009 fm 165 with a 4 Stroke 60hp mercury. Looking for any tips tricks suggestions that will make this an experience that us and our kids will continue to enjoy. One other thing does anyone know exactly where the fuel tank sits? Thanks

    newby with a lowe fm 165 prop?????s

    Hi, I just bought a 2009 fm165 with a 4stroke 60hp elpt mercury on it; the dealer put a Black Max 10 3/8 R 13P on it. It peaks at 31mph at 5800rpm wot, but very slow to get there and very slow to get on plane, the more weight the slower to plane out, and nose goes way up almost have to stand up...
