i have a 1988 model johnson 88 special i mix the oil myself . why is oil leaking down the outside engin cover down to the lower unit please give me some ideas.the motor runs 30mph+ just idols a little rough.
just put boat back in water after carb rebuild due to non idle, now idols great but boggs down just after boat plains off. if i just slowly cruise around it runs great.help!
boat has not idled for some years. today i rebuilt carb and im not sure about how to tune, just seems like there is not much to tune. help! the carb is a mercruiser 1389- 9562
