Thanks for replying to my post. I couldn't find link you left for volvo penta 285 seal replacement. Could you send again please. I'm on a fixed income so I can't afford the marine shop. Really like to work on my boat though as I have learned soooo much.
Trying to replace seal behind shifter on outdrive. Looks like right behind eccentric piston. Do I just have to remove that to get at old seal or do I need to remove bearing housing as well? Is there anything to be cautious about?
