I will be as short as possible and see what anyone has a clue as to my problem. My fuel pump was out and the carb kit needed replacing. I had the kit replaced and a fuel pump put on. Motor ran great for about 3 trips. Then wanted to miss on occasion on top end. The next trip it would run...
I have a 1962 evinrude 18 hp motor and it needs points. Will the sierra 18-5002 tune-up kit work? I believe the sierra is a not a 100 percent copy of the points that are in my engine. Does anyone know if kit 18-5002 should fit and run in my motor.
