I just bought this older boat and motor and i took it out the other day and when i put the throttle down it goes all the way down and only gets to about 2500 rpm maybe 10 miles an hour. I don't know how to go about tighting it so i can get a tighter fuller throttle.

I recently purchased a 1983 Tidecraft Wildfire Bass Boat. Who ever owned it before me took off the Maximum Occupancy Plate. I didn't realize it was a big deal but i took the boat out once and already got a ticket for it. And i think Tidecraft is out of business or bought out so i don't know...
