Looking to get a GPS/Depth Sounder Combo and was just wondering if anyone had opinions of these two models:
- GARMIN GPSMAP? 520s Fishfinder/Chartplotter Combo (with dual-frequency transducer)
- HUMMINBIRD 788ci Fishfinder/Chartplotter Combo
Also any opinons on Garmin vs Humminbird would also...
When I removed my cleats and bow rails, many of the bolts had to be drilled out because they seemed to be welded to the alluminium backing plates from salt corrosion or something...
When I go to re-install them should I use stainless steel backing plates as the cleats, bolts etc are stainless...
