    first of all a thanks to all that contribute here now for my question 5.7 alpha one 1990 yr only gets hot at idle boat was fresh water only untill i bought it two months ago am i looking at the impeller or something else i do not let it get over 180 i bring up the rpms and it cools right down...

    rear motor mounts

    hi i have a 1990 mercruiser 3.0 and alpha one stern drive are the rear motormounts susposed to be finger tight?? thank you im new to boating not new to working thanks in advance:cool:
