    prop size

    wanted to know if anyone had a sugguestion on what would be the best prop size for a 1986 Evinrude 200XP on a Ranger 390V. Right now running a S.S. Racker 4 1/2x 24 and at w. o. t. running 5000 rpm. not a very good hole shot.Should I also raise engine up to top notch, no jack plate.

    rough or no idle long time to plane

    have a 200xp evinrude on a ranger 390v. Motor idles rough when it is put into gear, also hard to keep at idle out of gear.
