I have problem with starting Johnson 1974 6HP
I changed two new spark plugs and gaps
I rebuilt the carbs three times and clean and everything
Check the floater and speed needle all look fine
When it started and it died
Sometime it start and ran 10 seconds and it died
I checked...
Does anyone has this information
My buddy gave me the Evinrude motor but not too sure what year and how many HP

It has a power start plug and where can I find out what type of cable adapter

I am trying to adjust the idle but not response no matter how I tight it all the way
The engine rev still running high
Would any know if this part is bad or good
