I recently purchased a trolling motor for my boat, but there in not enough space on the bow to mount it. I was wondering how difficult it is to work fiberglass and is it something a first timers could do? Any advice would be helpful.
The motor starts easy enough, but it just won't throttle up all the way like it used to. If you punch it it will get to about 3000 rpm and act bogged down. If you keep bumping it it will eventually get up to 3,400 rpm and on a plane at about 20mph, but it if you go too far it will bog back...
The motor will start up easy, and throttle up fine when hooked to the hose at the house. Put it in the water, different story. It will start fine, but will sometimes die when idling. Go to throttle up and it won't get past 3,000 rpms and fast idle. Any suggestions or advice?
