i replaced the charge coil and the sensor and still have no spark on either cylinder 1987 20hp johnson by the way the coils both ohm out ok what else could it be?? the powerpack is there a way to test or just replace the boat just died at wide open throttle and now has no spark the charge coil...
what does the charge coil and sensor do exactly my charge coil ohms out about 15 ohms lower than the book and i cant get anything out of it like the test in the book show
i have a johnson 20 1987 i took the starter off years ago when it died starts so easy dont need starter anyhow what parts can I take off took all starter wiring out and can the stator and rectifer be removed? taking flywheel of to replace bad charge coil and sensor and what to remove everything...
