    fuel/oil mix messed up. what to do?

    i have a 1987 85hp force motor. i just bought the boat and missed understood what mix i was supposed to be putting in. i have not been putting enough in. the motor overheated and now is running rough. shoul i empty tank and start over or add oil and run tank empty then start new?

    85 hp force outboard fuel/oil mix what is

    i have a 85 hp force outboard motor. model number 856x7b. i need to know the year, anyone know? also what is correct oil/fuel mix? i dont believe its correct and it is running real ruff.<br /><br />please help someone.
