    Gheenoe Motor

    I have recently gotten a 1994 15 foot Gheenoe. It has a HP rating up to 10 hp. Should I just look for 8-10 hp outboards or can I get by with something like 6 hp? I will mostly be fishing lakes from 200-700 acres.

    1972 9.5 hp Johnson outboard question

    I recently obtained a used Johnson 9.5 hp Seahorse outboard made in 1972. My engine has a problem of jumping out of gear when the engine is revved up. What could be causing that and how can I fix it? Thanks for any info. Chris
