    coil problems 4hp Evinrude

    Changed a coil in my 4hp Evinrude and the new coil is not giving me a 1/4 inch spark, its a very weak spark about 1/8 inch, the original on #2 is giving a 1/4 inch spark. i have tried switching the coils with each other to confirm contacts and wires are ok.the weak spark follows the new coil...
