    #1 Does my 1986 Mercury 35hp outboard have points? My repair manual does not shed light on things and I don't really want to pull the flywheel to check. #2 Besides changing the plugs what would you do for a spring tune-up? Thanks

    Where can I find a factory service/ repair manual for my 1986 35hp Mercury. I have a seloc manual and I am not happy with it.

    35hp water pump help

    Got my kit to replace the impeller but I am pretty sure the old impeller is in pieces. Is there a picture some were of which way the impeller blades are bent when installing the new impeller? Do they bend to the right or the left? I have a seloc manual and it does not show or mention it.

    I need to replace the water pump on my 35hp Merc. I want to do it myself but the book I have is a bit confussing. I believe it's a 1986 model, the serial is A153384. 1. Is it that hard to do? 2. Where can I get the replacement kit? Thanks

    86 Mercury 35hp Trim/ Tilt

    I have an 1986 35hp Merc with the 2 cylinder trim/ tilt. The pump motor is shot and I am not sure about the pump. The set-up uses 4 hoses, 2 to each cylinder. Can I adapt this to one of the newer 2 hose pumps and combine hoses since they are easyier to come buy?
