    Scarfing stringers

    How do you guys feel about scarfing in a piece of wood on a engine mount stringer? It has to be cut back to get in new transom anyway. It would be cut back at a 10:1 ratio glued then tabbed to the transom and existing stringer.

    Bondo in my transom?

    I am in the process of removing the transom, on my 98 Baja 232. Now that I have almost all the plywood removed. I noticed what appears to be bondo as the bonding and fillet material. Is this what they used at the factory? I really expecting to find thicken resin.
