Friend of mine sent me pics of an early 1960s Evinrude. They were unable to find a serial number so I don't know if this is worth even looking at. Anyone at first glance see a barn find treasure or at least something to part out? Thanks for the help.
I have patched the hull with chopped strand mat and unwaxed vinyl ester resin. My next step is to replace the stringers with 1708 and epoxy. Before I put down the epoxy, I wanted to confirm that I will need to do a final coat with wax added for a final "cure".

We recently aquired a 15 foot dual console boat (long story) that ended up having waterlogged foam, rotten stringers and needing a new transom. My sons and I have decided this will be a good father/sons project to take on to get this boat restored better than it was.
