    Thanks to some of yalls help I finally got the stripped bolt out of the housing and got the housing removed. Now the new problem that I am in need of a solution to is the edge around where the retaining ring goes is breaking off. Most all of it is broken already and I assume that isnt good. Idk...

    I have a 1989 evinrude 25 hp outboard motor that I am having problems with the lower unit. I was told that the oil was drained when i got it a few days ago but come to find out it is leaking out.
