    Need advice on floor - high rivet heads

    Picking up where I stopped last fall & putting new floor down ( epoxy coated 3/4 mply). Used 1" blind rivets as was original to the boat.(Fishmaster 196). a lot of my rivet heads are proud of the surface by about .045" or so. I have vinyl ready to go down but am concerned about the rivet heads...

    196 Fishmaster Phase II

    I'm continuing my 196 Fishmaster restoration from last year and have started riveting down the new epoxied floor plywood. Some of the dome head rivets sit proud of the surface by .050 or so and I'm worried that the heads of the rivets may telegraph through the new vinyl thats gowing down...

    89 Fishmaster Restoration - transom epoxy timing question.

    I have the epoxy form US composites and I'm ready to seal the new plywood transom and floor panels. What's the timing considerations for applying the second and third coats without having to sand between coats. Whats the best application mechanisim roller or brush?:confused:

    '89 19' Fishmaster restoration

    2 months into a rip down to replace saturated foam, new floor, carpet, vinyl and what ever else it needs. Aluminum panels off and 60% cleaned of adhesive. Still debating transom replacement. Question - what density foam should I use under floor and in side panels. I need to start thinking...
