I recently purchased a 1989 Bass Tracker TX with an Evinrude 40hp electric start.
2 problems I have noted:
1) I drained the oil from the lower unit and found water in it. It is not a milky color and the motor has not been run in months.
2) The power trim/tilt is missing the unit on...
I am restoring an 89 Tracker with an 89 Evinrude. The tilt and trim has been disconnected. I am looking for any info regarding this. For example there has to be a motor and a pump.........where are they located? How are the contol cables routed? Also what is the best manual to buy for this...
