    Thanks to those of you that replied . I got the manual bypass valve in record time from i boats and pulled the old one out and found that the small o ring had busted . So that was probably the problem with the tilt not staying up . Oh well I check it off as a learning exsperience.So far it's...

    trim / tilt problems

    Hello, I am having a problem with the trim will go up and down fine but won't stay up or in position .Espesially running,but will lift running.I was advised to replace the manual release valve , does that sound right ? There is no leaks of any kind . Thanks or any advice. David
