Preparing to replace the water pump impeller in my '87 150 Hp Johnson outboard. Watched a couple of YouTube videos where they mention OMC Gasket Sealer compound. Can I simply use Permatex Blue RTV Silicone Gasket Maker instead? Also, somewhat concerned about re-attaching the shift linkage...
