    I have a 1989 mercury classic 50 that will start up and run great for about 5-10 minutes then the motor shuts off and quits running. It will restart but usually in about an hour or so, its never the same amount of time. I checked plugs and there doesn't seem to be any spark for that hour or so...

    mercury classic fifty tilt trim motor change

    I replaced my tilt trim motor on my classic fifty. I bolted on the original valve body to the new motor and now I cant get it to sit down flush in the hole. Do i need to drain the fluid in the housing for the motor assy to drop down flush so I can bolt it down? Its almost is flush it needs to go...
