    fuel and oil mix ration

    What is the fuel / oil mixture for an older 18 hp Johnson Seahorse? The original fuel tank indicates 25 to 1. I was advised by marine mechanic that 50 to 1 is what I should use given the "newer" mix oil developed. Also, what fuel / oil mixture do I use for a 1981 - 2 hp Johnson Seahorse?

    changing gear oil

    I have an older, not sure what year, 2 hp johnson and I want to change gear oil but I only found one screw to drain oil. Shouldn't there be another screw to vent out oil? Also, what is the spark plug gap for the 2 hp motor? Terry Prince George, BC. Canada
