    If I'm getting a good stream out the PHole is my impeller still in good shape?

    Water Leaking

    Here's a pic of my 1979 Mercury 40 HP 2 stroke. What is the part that the arrow is pointing to and why is there water coming out of the hole? The engine ran fine last summer and now it idles rough and dies under load. Thanks
