    1988 9.9 capacity

    hi all, i have a 1988 9.9 merc, and am curious to know it's capacity. i think it's around 210cc and the 15hp 252cc? if so, when did the capacity jump to the same as athe 15. was hoping to uprate the 9.9, but guess it will be pointless if it's a smaller capacity! cheers eric

    hi all, have just purchased a merc 15hp(off ebay), and found out it is made in Belgium? the serial number is 9540095. is this correct, and what year is it made in? also, would it be the same specification as the current US 15. it has the gear change on the tiller any advice is greatly...
