    Wouldn't it make sense to take the ride plate off when starting it in the driveway? To prevent the plate from blowing off in the event of a backfire.

    Has anyone used a tee fitting into the water cooling line instead of disconnecting the line to cool engine when running out of the water? My only thought is some water would run out through the pump.

    94 sea rayder intake ride plate

    Can a ride plate be straightend once it has been bent? Also will this cause major thrust problems when out riding boat? Also noticed foam seal at back of pump hanging out! Any insight would be helpful!
