    I've removed lower unit bolts. Unit is suspended by shift rod. I can see that shift rod is threaded into the "shift rod connector" that is pinned to the arm that connects to shift cable.     Mfg. date of 70's era 115 hp johnson "Power Shift II"

    This motor is on a 81 Baja. It was stolen from me & recovered in 1984. Now that I need a lower unit, I've discovered that the thieves removed all s/n tags off my mtr. I have found a number on the base of the clamp casting (starboard side). MI 10.22.73 Could this be it? Please help.
