    Oar Lock Questioin

    I just bought some oar locks for the pram that I have just finished building (my first build). Sorry for such a rookie question, but here goes. They are the type that are open at the top, with horns. There is a pin through the horns at the top. What is this pin for?

    Hi, I am going to try to replace the impeller in my 2000 Evinrude 40hp 4 stroke. I have heard second hand that it is not too difficult. Should I buy a repair manual? Is there any info. out there that I can access through the internet? I am not a mechanic, but have done a few very minor repairs...
