    correct idle speed for 3.0 mercruiser

    I have 2008 tahoe Q4 with a 3.0 mercruiser ,alpha one drive. It idles around 900 rpm is that too fast? The drive it ginds and engages hard i was wondering if maybe it was idling too fast and that is the reason for the hard engage. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    What prop is best for my boat?

    I have a 2008 Q4 with a 3.0 mercruiser. My main use is tubing, any ideas i would like to get on top of the water quickly without losing any top end.

    Im looking for a prop for my 2008 Q4 mercury is the only brand ive looked at so far i want plane quicker but i dont want lose any of my top end suggestions?
