So I'm getting ready to swap out the black anchor on my Sylvan pontoon with a Johnson mounted on another boat. The shift cable comes off the Johnson with no problem. I know this will sound stupid, but I dont see a way to disconnect the throttle cable at the motor without disconnecting the arm...
