I have a 1958 evinrude lark started idleing really high and either dies out or dies when I go to put it in reverse or forward. Used to idle ok. Thinking something wrong in the carb?? Maybe fuel pump?? Where should I start? :confused:
Im pretty new to boating. I have a 1958 Evinrude lark. Would like to know how to set the idle screw for the best running idle. Also where to run the slow and high speed rich and lean adjustments for best performance..
Bought a classic 1965 sea king was told it has 40hp motor. Serial plate says #35514-07189 35 hp at 4500 rpms. Cant find anything online for this serial number. What year is it?
