    have 73 65hp johnson no p/t/t, found power tilt unit, they claim fits 85 to 115 hp not sure of year model is it possible to add p/t/t to the 73? how much alteration to fit? thanks danmar

    45hp classic 50 water leak at #1 plug

    happy to say the 45 is running,good stream at taletell, 1/8"hose midway between plugs flows water. BUT water is seeping somewhere in the #1 plug area cant find visible crack, pulled plug no water in cyl. best i can tell. pulled plug wire while running definitely firing.. im guessing the cover is...

    just bought a 76 magnum with this 86 merc on it. previous owner(s) did hatchet job & tossed engine harness. i have regasketed carbs,piecemealed wiring to get spark but now i have to get new battery old one wont cut it. my question is -- the tube coming out of cyl head is routed forward but...
