    Fuel pump

    I have a 1993 50 hp evinrude that the previous owner has removed the vro system. I need a new fuel pump and I would like to use a non VRO pump due to the cost. Is this possible and if so what part number should I look for. Would I need to modify anything else with the fuel system?

    Rough idle

    I have a 1993 50 hp VRO motor with the VRO system removed by the previous owner. It starts and initially runs great. After running for a while it idles very rough and at times dies while idling. It runs fine at full throttle when warm. Any ideas? Thanks
