i have a 1957 14 aluminum starcraft skichamp with what seems to be a heavy mahogany interior. i put an 87 nissan ns40c on it that currently has a 10.5 x 13 aluminum prop. the boat almost seems to run at mediocer speed with just me in it but it is still boggy and really bogs or slows with each...
my buddy mechanic has looked my motor over and we think i just need a different prop. just was wondering which other outboard manufactures might fit my motor. its an 87 nsc 40 nissan long shaft. thanks its got a 10.5x13 aluminum prop and im trying to get a 10.5 x 9 or 10 ish. thanks...
the guys about 40 miles away have a service manuel for a m40c with the date 1995. or maybe it said 92. i have a 87 ns40c. will this be a good manuel for my motor. i wan to leave now to go and get it........
